Etten Consulting was founded by Mr. Michael Etten, M.S.I.S., and is based in McHenry, Illinois. Mr. Michael Etten (Principal) is a Computer Systems Consultant, State of Illinois Certified Educator and Financial Consultant. He has provided professional services to a number of well-known Fortune 500 Corporations, small and mid-sized businesses, educational institutions and individuals. Mr. Etten has taught at a number of local community schools and at Northern Illinois University. Mr. Etten’s educational background includes that of a Master’s of Science Degree in Information Systems (Northern Illinois University), a Bachelor’s Of Science Degree in Business Administration, Economics and Finance (Rockford College), a Two Year Certification in Microcomputer Operations and Novell® CNE and Microsoft® MCSE training. Mr. Etten has also been employed by one of the largest’s international information systems consulting firms and is recognized by the International Who’s Who of Computer Systems Professionals and the Wall Street Journal®. He is also a member of The Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) and the McHenry Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Etten believes in his community and has been recognized and awarded the Joe Thome Award for community service and support to the McHenry Fiesta Days as presented by the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce. He has also been nominated and selected for the Advocate Good Shephard Hospital & our local radio station's, Star 105.5's "Unsung Heroes" award as a Community Hero and well as nominated for the NBC National Community Leadership Award. He is also the past Vice President of the Citizens Police Academy Alumni of McHenry and is a donor and board committee member to numerous community causes including the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of both North McHenry and North Kane Counties.
